Prototyping Specialist
Build the prototypes that power faster R&D. Join our hands-on team to assemble, refine, and improve advanced electronics from first iteration to working solution.
Responsibilities
• Assemble, inspect, and rework electronic prototypes, including fine-pitch SMT assemblies.
• Serve as the primary prototype build resource for R&D teams.
• Manage prototype component procurement and supplier communications.
• Maintain and develop the in-house prototype component library and inventory.
• Ensure availability of commonly used components, materials, and consumables.
• Operate and maintain prototype assembly equipment and workspaces.
• Support rapid prototype iterations and engineering development activities.
• Continuously improve prototype assembly processes, tools, and workflows.
Requirements
• Hands-on experience in electronics assembly, soldering, and rework.
• Familiarity with SMT assembly and modern PCB technologies.
• Experience in sourcing electronic components and managing suppliers.
• Ability to read BOMs, schematics, and assembly documentation.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Strong practical problem-solving skills and a flexible mindset.
Desired
• Experience with prototype assembly equipment, reflow processes, or pick-and-place systems.
• Familiarity with laboratory test equipment and electronics debugging.
• Understanding of PCB manufacturing and design-for-manufacturing principles.
